Congo Police fired tear gas at the unaccredited protests against the foreign troops by Congolese rebels.Reemergence of the protestors led to the detention of some insurgents and the journalists covering the protests.

A major tear gas attack on the anarchists was witnessed on Wednesday due to the unauthorized protest in Goma,eastern Congo.The fuss was created to help mitigate violence against the locals by the armed foreign troops.
Authorities later terminated the protestors and the journalists covering the protests.
Kenyan Troops and another contingent from South Sudan facing opposition from the Congolese on their arrival and this violence situated has manifested the blame on the Congo rebels.
It is ironic that 5 innocent lives were arrested to death as anti-un protests flare in eastern Congo.
Background of the tear gas attack :

Aimless wandering by the Kenyan military and doing nothing led to the violence by the local Congo activists.Demonstrator Gloire Bagaya further stated that the populations had gathered to ward off the exploitations by the regional force.
Bagaya added that South Sudanese international plot against the Congolese to divide them as a country.South Sudanese are themselves at war and people are appointed to bring peace to Congo. This is highly objectionable and hence needs to be addressed.
A decade of dormancy but yet the arrival of M23 in eastern Congo has shaken the democracy of the country.They accuse Rwanda of supporting the military rebel group which is denied by them.
Areas under control led to the protests in Congo.It was promised that by Jan,15 the country would be evacuated by the foreign troops.Well that did not happen and the agreement was reached in Angola to free men from some of the occupied territories by next year.
Humanitarian crisis is the sole root cause because the fight is expanding in eastern Congo. Almost 6 million people are internally displaced within the country and with more than 450,000 displaced in North Kivu province since the clashes escalated in February.
Tear gas attack at least killed 5 men in Congo:

Protestors were attacked by the police.They fired tear gas at the insurgents in the Republic of the Congo,protest on Jan 18,2023.This seemed to be the plot to Balkanise their country,Bagaya added.
At Least 5 people succumbed to death and about 50 injured during second day violence against the removal of United Nations troops in Goma on Tuesday.
A Reuters reporter witnessed an U.N. peacekeeper shoot two protesters dead.In a protest against vandalizing the U.N. building on fire.
Another reporter said that some of the protesters or demonstrators stormed the houses of U.N. who were purposefully evacuated by a vehicle of the army
The violence began on Monday and looted a MONUSCO warehouse in Goma.Hundreds attacked demanding that the troops leave the country and saw its ultimatum protests on Tuesday.

The Reuters reporter fired tear gas at the peacekeepers and live bullets at the crowd,killing two and wounding two others.
Army and police officers did not open fire but the protesters initially peacefully protesting turned violent as some picked tear gas grenades at them and off the ground again threw them at the MONUSCO warehouse.
A similar protest broke out around 200km north of Goma in the city of Butembo on Tuesday and local officials called the peacekeepers to calm the situation.
Afsa Paluku, a local activist, told Reuters that security forces invaded and fired at demonstrators killing two and wounding several others.

In Goma the outrageous Congo activists are not people to keep their calm until the job of wiping out the foreign troops is done on priority.
