What is the storyline of Not Dead Yet ?
In ABC’s new comedy, “Not Dead Yet,” we see Nell Serrano as a journalist who just moved back to the States from London following a broken engagement. The protagonist Nell, on moving to the States, gets a job at the local newspaper where she used to work, but rather than picking up where she left off, she is assigned a job of writing obituaries . The twist occurs when she starts seeing dead people on whom obituaries are to be written. Young or Old , they all appear to her until she writes obituaries for them.
In an exclusive sneak peek, we witness that Nell is greeted by the first spirit Monty guest star (Martin Mull),the creator of a famous bubble gum jingle.
She questions the first spirit about the fact that it has come here to kill her, just before entering the denial stage. She repeats to herself that she is not interacting with the ghosts and is just under the illusion that resulted from the chili cheese fries, the cake, the five cocktails, and the half gummy she has eaten.
Monty replied to Keith Richards to go easy and not knit playful stories in head.

The story is adapted by David Windsor and Casey Johnson (The Real O’Neals) from Alexandria Potter’s book Confession of a 40 something F**k up, Not dead Yet also stars Hannah Simone (New Girl),Lauren Ash (Superstone), Rick Glassman (As we see it), John Banday (Upload) and Angela Gibbs (On my block, Black Jesus).

The new show Not Dead Yet, is related to a reporting based haunted story ,where the protagonist Nell is haunted by the things she is writing about. Premiering on Wednesday,8 February the viewers will bid goodbye to ‘This is Us’ characters Randall, Kate and Kevin.
The roller coaster of emotions draws a lot about death- ‘This is Us’. At the same time they were busy nurturing the birth of her new baby, stated by Windsor. They considered it to be the nice cycle of life.
The exploration of new ghosts allowed Nell to explore the lives of other people and their experiences.They modified her way of living by advising the woman who admits her mess and someone who drinks a little more than normal and roams wearing a bathing suit bottoms when she runs out of clean undies.
What made the creators of Not Dead Yet create the show ?
There are two types of learnings about the people who have passed away,says Johnson.Of the two, the first ones bring up the stories of exploration and the learning experience from people’s life that is specific to them.
Some of the ghosts Nells meet include a jingle writer,who reveals not all advice is useful and a social media influencer elaborating her gloomy stories of high school.It airs just when a spirit filled comedy-‘Ghosts’- has begun its second season.
Both writers are suffering from the grief of their parents who recently passed away. They miss their guidance and care, which is the root cause of their show Not Dead Yet. A wish fulfillment thinking that just emerged in Windsor’s mind is what if they could talk to their ancestors and seek advice from them.
Not Dead Yet has both the flavors of a dramatic and emotional roller coaster. They thought it would be great if they brought both worlds and created a comedy based upon hard jokes and overly emotional planes. They are grateful to ABC for being by their side.
Not Dead Yet is a workplace show, one that brings in the fun banter between the co-workers.The forever nerds come up with adult jokes and make us laugh every moment of the show.
The writing episodes under the dim and shabby room often produced ideas in which ghost erupted first and at times exploration of Nell erupted the ghost idea.Just for example when Nell confronts a girl from High school- guest actor Brittany Snow plays her perfectly as an adult social media influencer who faced past bully.
They wanted to tell the story because of its uniqueness and fun, stated Johnson.T hey were not sure of what they wanted to tell for Nell instead brought the ghost first to advise her method of explorations in life.
The writing duo are excited to let people be aware of the stories consisting of about 100 dead people. They are waiting to transfer them all.They are hopeful to receive the second,third and fourth season to do it.
