The 43-year-old actress only recently debuted the item, which she says may enhance the health of your vagina, prevent odor, give it freshness, and even give it a flavor.
The focus of Kourtney Kardashian Barker’s latest product is the vagina this time around. Kourtney has been largely concentrating on her wellness and lifestyle blog, Poosh, for the past few years. As a result, she has recently introduced a new line of supplements called Lemme Purr which is this time centred on vaginal health.
Kourtney announced the same on her Instagram and wrote, “Meet Lemme Purr, our new vaginal health gummy! Vaginal health is such an essential part of a woman’s overall well-being, which is why we are so excited to launch this!”
Star of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians wrote on her Twitter account, “Treat your vagina to the sweets it so well deserves (and turn it into a sweet treat). You are what you eat, as the saying goes.”
The product was created using “clinically tested probiotics to promote its flavor, odor, and freshness, along with pineapple extract for additional sweetness,” according to the Lemme website. Kourtney also emphasized on the fact that the product is completely harmless.
Kourtney has been in the wellness industry for a while, but her new product could not impress netizens. As soon as the post went live, social media users filled her comment section with disappointment.

A gynaecologist slammed Kourtney for spreading false information among the public. She reposted her post and wrote “I’m a gynaecologist. This ain’t it. Stop giving your money away. You do not need this.”
Are suppliments needed for keeping clean vaginal health ?
The human vagina is home to more than 50 different types of microorganisms, the most prevalent and numerous of which are the lactobacilli, according to Dr Sujit Ash, a specialist in gynaecology and obstetrics at the P D Hinduja Hospital and Medical Research Centre in Khar.
As commensals, the lactobacilli maintain a lower pH and create lactic acid, bacteriocin-like compounds, and hydrogen peroxide, all of which have antibacterial properties. Numerous circumstances, including cyclical hormone fluctuations, intercourse, the use of chemical-based scents and soaps, wearing tight undergarments, etc., can eliminate these bacteria and disturb the usual pH and flora of the vagina.
Every vagina has a little amount of discharge that varies throughout the month and a faint odor that is physiologically necessary to keep the environment balanced. Additionally, this taste, smell, or discharge may vary from woman to woman, which does not indicate that your vagina is unhealthy or unclean.
Treatment is only necessary if there is evidence of any fishy discharge that smells bad, changes colour (to grey, green, or yellow), or changes consistency (to a curdy discharge).
Because the vagina is a self-cleaning organ, it typically looks after itself. The vagina is the internal organ of the female reproductive system, and the vulvar area, which includes the labia majora, labia minora, clitoris, and vaginal entrance, is its external organ.
The fluid generated by the vulva and vagina not only kills various dangerous germs but also maintains the vaginal ph. Therefore such products are not a necessity and can be avoided completely.
How to maintain good vaginal health?
While maintaining a clean vagina is crucial, there is no need for scented and antibacterial vaginal wipes, sprays, or washes. Since they might alter your vaginal PH, they may really be more harmful than beneficial.
You only need to keep your vagina clean, cold, and dry. So stay away from “feminine hygiene” items with strong scents. Nylon and spandex are examples of synthetic materials that retain heat and moisture and prevent the vagina from breathing, which can promote infections.
She advises wearing cotton underwear since it can help avoid the growth of harmful bacteria and guarantee that you put on brand-new pants each day. Wearing thin underwear would thus be recommended.
There are advantages to taking probiotics to promote the health of your vaginal flora, according to research. You’re more likely to contract infections like thrush, bacterial vaginosis (BV), and sexually transmitted illnesses and infections (STDs/STIs) when there aren’t enough healthy bacteria present.
A simple and efficient strategy to increase the proportion of beneficial bacteria in your microbiome is to take a probiotic supplement every day.
