During his BRIT acceptance speech, Harry Styles says, “I wouldn’t be here without you.”
On Saturday, the singer of “As It Was” won each of the four 2023 BRIT Awards for which he was nominated.

At the 2023 BRIT Awards, Harry Styles paid tribute to his boy band beginnings. The 29-year-old Grammy Award winner praised his fellow members of One Direction, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, and Zayn Malik, during his acceptance speech for British artist of the year at the London awards ceremony on Saturday.
“I want to thank my mother for enrolling me in the X Factor without telling me; without you, I genuinely wouldn’t be here.” Niall, Louis, Liam, and Zayn deserve my gratitude because without you, I also wouldn’t be here. I greatly appreciate that.” as per Styles’ speech.

Additionally, he added, “I’m really, really appreciative of this, and I’m really cognizant of my privilege up here today.” Because “this doesn’t happen to individuals like me very often,” Styles received harsh criticism during his acceptance speech for album of the year.
Styles also praised his family on Saturday. I want to express my gratitude to my family for being the most loving, understanding, patient, and supportive family I could have hoped for.
One Direction was created by the five singers on The X Factor in 2010, and their debut album was released the following year. Following the release of the quartet’s album Made in the A.M. in 2015, the band declared an indefinite sabbatical. Malik quit the group that year.

For the award on Saturday, the Harry’s House singer triumphed over Cat Burns, Charli XCX, Dua Lipa, and Sam Smith.
This year’s BRIT Awards nominations are led by Styles and the up-and-coming group Wet Legs. Each of them was nominated in four categories, with Styles receiving all of them.
