President Joe Biden remains a “healthy, vigorous 80-year-old male who is fit to successfully execute the duties of the presidency,” Biden’s physician Kevin O’Connor, said in a letter published by the White House.
President Joe Biden was declared “fit for duty” by his doctor after the final annual medical check-up before he is expected to declare he’s running for president elections in 2024.
The keenly awaited report after extensive testing found some relatively minor issues, but said Biden was clear of serious physical and neurological problems.
O’Connor’s letter painted a largely glowing picture of a president who benefits from healthy living habits.
“The President does not use any tobacco products, does not drink alcohol, and he continues to work out at least five days a week,” the letter said.
Biden’s routine physical has taken on extra scrutiny as the octogenarian is widely expected to announce a president election bid in the coming weeks or months. Already the oldest person to assume the presidency, Biden would be 86 at the end of a second term.
He has not declared a president re-election bid but is widely expected to do so soon, with the campaign starting to heat up.
Biden is infamous for his gaffe that comes out in public quite evidently. Questions around his age and constant Republican insinuations that he is mentally incompetent will likely be a major through-line during the campaign.
On the Republican side, so far the frontrunner is former president Donald Trump, whom Biden beat in the tumultuous 2020 election.
Other candidates include Nikki Haley, an Indian American, two-term Governor of South Carolina and the former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations announced her candidacy for US president. Vivek Ramaswamy, another Indian-American Republican candidate, a 37-year-old millionaire, who describes himself on social media as ‘Capitalist & Citizen’, is likely to run for US president.

Recently in Joe Biden’s State of the Union Address he talked extensively about Bipartisanship, America first focussing on his “Made in America” thrust to ensure manufacturing jobs return to the US and the first beginnings of his re-election campaign calling for “Big Oil”, “Big Pharma”, and “Big Tech”.

Though Republican members of Congress heckled him, calling him a “liar” and rejecting his assertions with “bullshit”.
Biden started the tenure on tall promises to make America great again, crack the JCPOA which is the nuclear deal with Iran, bringing America’s two greatest rivals, China and Russia onboarded hoping for a new equation. It seems like Biden failed miserably in all the promises.

The shameful exit of US troops from Afghanistan and returning of Taliban 2.0 with that returning of aristocracy and death of democracy and human rights. Russia started war with Ukraine and after that relations went haywire between both countries.
Biden has not been able to ink Iran’s nuclear deal. America’s west asian partner particularly Saudi Arabia has shown cold shoulder to Biden when he requested to increase the supply of oil in the market to tame the price.
Biden failed equally at home as much as he did on the international platform. Biden still could not draw any legislation on the ban of gun culture in America. It is in his tenure that aborting a child after 16 weeks of pregnancy is illegal now and with that women losing control over her body.
Racial violence is all time high , inflation is soaring, cost of living has become expensive and with all of this the country is staring at a recession.
The US 2024 Election will be a high political drama with Americans aspirations at stake. This will be intersesting to see who will make America great again, who will protect the unalienable Right of Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness of americans.
