Next Stop: Brazil
The Rainbow Six: Siege world championship, known as the Six Invitational, is moving to Brazil in 2024 after being held in Montreal, Canada, for five years and once each in Stockholm, Sweden, and Paris, France. This announcement was made prior to the grand finals of the 2023 Six Invitational tournament, and it follows an earlier announcement in 2022 that future Invitationals would take place in various locations worldwide rather than solely in Montreal. The Brazilian crowd is excited for the upcoming event, which will be the first international Rainbow Six: Siege event in the country in over five years.
Brazil last played host to an international Rainbow Six Siege event in November 2018 with the ESL Pro League Season 8 Finals. The upcoming Six Invitational 2024 will mark the first major Rainbow Six: Siege event in Brazil in more than five years. Earlier, the Season 11 Finals were planned to take place in Sao Paulo, which was also the host city for the Season 6 Finals. However, due to the escalating COVID-19 pandemic, the event had to be called off.
