Sanchez’s Arrival
On the eve of the anniversary of Russia’s invasion, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez arrived in Ukraine to meet with President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, according to a statement released by Sanchez’s office on Thursday.

According to a statement from Sanchez’s office, the Spanish ambassador to Ukraine, the Ukrainian ambassador in Madrid, and the deputy foreign minister of Ukraine all welcomed Sanchez upon his arrival in Kyiv.
Earlier, President Joseph Biden had pledged fresh $500 worth of military supplies for Ukraine million on an unannounced visit to Kyiv on Monday.
Giorgia Meloni, the prime minister of Italy, paid a visit to the Ukrainian capital on Tuesday to meet with Zelenskiy. During their conversation, she vowed to continue supporting Zelenskiy in his defense against Russian assaults but refrained from offering fighter jets.

During the visit, Frederiksen said that Denmark will send Ukraine more weaponry.
