Courtney Cox, the 58-year-old actor, director, producer, and entrepreneur who is famous for her role as Monica Geller in the 90s sitcom fan favorite series “Friends,” received the star of the Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday, February 27, 2023, for her work in the industry. She received this award before her debut in another season of the Starz series Shining Vale in her popular role as Gale Weathers.
Upon receiving this award, Courtney was supported by a lot of her friends, who joined her during the ceremony, among whom were her FRIENDS co-stars Lisa Kudrow, who played the iconic character of Phoebe Buffay, and Jennifer Anniston, who did justice to the character of Rachel Green in the series.

FRIENDS REUNION
Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Jennifer Anniston, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, and Mathew Perry were the leads of the cast of the all-time favorite sitcom series “Friends,” which aired for almost 10 years (from 1995 to 2004) on NBC. The cast also got together for a reunion in 2021, which got everyone excited as well as emotional.
Jennifer commented that being Courtney’s friend means being her family, and that is why everyone is here today for her as she receives the 2750th star in Hollywood.
Jennifer Anniston and Lisa Kudrow delivered a heartwarming speech for their friend Courtney in which Anniston mentioned how scared she was to meet Courtney for the first time as she was the one with the most experience and Jennifer only knew her through an advertisement, she saw in an ice cream parlor.
At the beginning of the speech, she mentioned, “We are standing here today on behalf of your co-workers, your family, and as your sisters, and we are that because we have known you for a long time.” Lisa went on to say that they have known Courtney for nearly 30 years, and it gives them immense pleasure and makes them feel proud to know you and a person who is truly beautiful, talented, and a good and decent human being, as you are an achievement personally.
The two actors then continued with how she works and exposed her OCD tendencies, which are also like her character on Friends, Monica Geller.
The duo added that since the moment they met her, she had been exceptionally warm and loving and wanted to know everything about you. “She created an environment so supportive that we believe it was her doing that that really set us up towards each other, and we ended up being the most supportive, loving, and closest cast in the history of television,” Lisa added.

Courtney also said a few things upon receiving her award. She first thanked her family and everyone who works for her, from her staff to her agents. She specifically mentioned publicist Mellissa Kates and her assistant Tracy Resse. Her special mentions included her daughter Coco, who for Courtney is an inspiration, and her boyfriend McDaid.
With teary eyes, the actor recalled a phone call from about 40 years ago when her father called and asked her to come back to her hometown and start selling swimming pools for a living. The next day she got Family Ties, and since there was no going back, receiving this award made her feel like she was here to stay and that she would stay longer.
Through her speech, her co-actors and friends got emotional.
The pictures from the special moment were shared by Jennifer on Instagram.
The first one showed the trio posing together, the second was from the celebration of the big win, and the third was a throwback picture of the trio from their “Friends” days.
Posting these pictures, Anniston wrote, “Very proud of our girl, @courteneycoxofficial, today.” “I love these women with literally every ounce of my heart and soul. Lisa Kudrow and I were on a cloud being able to celebrate her and her incredible achievements.”
The reunion was not complete today, but even seeing these three together was a big win for Friends fans.
