According to the police, this consignment of liquor was called for sale on the occasion of Holi. Police said that Holi special was written on the liquor bottles. Vaishali’s excise station in-charge Suresh Prasad Chowdhary told that we had received information that liquor has been kept hidden in Harpur village. In the raid, liquor has been recovered in a sack inside a pond there. About 17 cartons of liquor have been recovered from this pond. Further action is being taken by registering an FIR in the matter.
