In addition to carrying out a new dark web report function for all subscribers, Google is extending VPN access to all Google One members on all plans. All Google One members, including those on the Basic plan, which begins at $1.99 per month, will now have access to VPN by Google One, which was earlier only accessible to users on the Premium 2TB plan.

VPN by Google
The tech giant points out that VPN by Google One increases security for all apps and browsers, protecting your online activity from hackers and network administrators by hiding your IP location.
The VPN is accessible on Android, iOS, Windows, and Mac platforms in Austria, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and the United States. If they have a Google One account, you can also share the VPN with up to five additional people.
In order to assist users in keeping track of their personal information on the dark web, Google is also introducing a new feature dubbed “dark web report” for Google One members on all plans in the United States. Members of all Google One plans in the US will begin receiving the dark web analysis over the coming weeks.

In a blog post, the business stated that its dark web report “helps users scan the dark web for your private details, like their name, address, email, phone number, and Social Security Number” and will instruct them if it is found out.
You define and select the data you want to monitor within your monitoring profile when you activate the dark web report. And we’ll let you know if any information that matches is discovered on the dark web and offer advice on how you can secure it.
The feature will also display additional information that may be linked to those data breaches. You can delete any information from your profile or stop monitoring at any time, according to Google, which adds that the information in your monitoring profile is handled in accordance with Google’s privacy policy.

In the beginning, the Google One subscription was used to pay for extra online storage for items like Photos, Docs, and Gmail. It has grown over time to become a more comprehensive set of features, including members-only benefits like the ability to hold extended group video calls on Google Meet, 10% cashback on Google Store purchases, and extended trials.
What is VPN?
Virtual private networks, or VPNs, add an additional degree of security by encrypting user internet activity and shielding it from network administrators and hackers (which may include the internet service provider, carrier, or public Wi-Fi provider). Additionally, it conceals users’ IP addresses from websites and applications so that their whereabouts cannot be ascertained or tracked over time.
Google Pixel Update
Google has significantly improved the allure of its cloud subscription plan for iOS and non-Pixel Android users while we wait for the Pixel March feature release. Along with these functions, the business recently made Magic Eraser and other AI editing tools available to users who use Google Photos. The favorite aspect is that these features are accessible to the general public on Google One service and are not only not restricted to particular plans.
