Xi Jinping has already met Putin 39 times in Person since he became the President of China. China – Russia also signed a deal of “No limits partnership” before Russia invaded Ukraine. The Partnership was kept intact even after the Ukraine invasion. This also creates skepticism.
These allegations are not good for the Chinese reputation nationally as well as internationally. China never publicly denounced or criticized the aggressive actions of Russia towards Ukraine.
This skepticism of the western world towards China is growing day after day. Though, Chinese officials have refuted the claims of diplomatic support to Russia.

Western leaders and diplomats have criticized the 12-point document or strategy framework. They were quick enough to reject the peace framework. On the other hand, Russia quickly accepted the initiative by the Chinese officials.
It is highly suspected that Chian will play the role of the mediator in solving the conflict.
It is expected that the reason behind the sudden change in the plan is to discuss the peace agreement with Vladimir Putin. This could also be because of the upcoming election in China.
