Malvika Sitlani, a social media influencer and entrepreneur , welcomed a girl into the world on May 10, 2023. She used her Instagram account to let her followers know about this, posting the first photo of her holding the hands of new born daughter and husband Akhil. Fans and friends flooded the comment section with blessings and heartfelt messages.

Malvika is a model, one of the most well-known beauty bloggers from India, and she also has a YouTube channel and her own cosmetics company, MASIC Beauty. She teaches makeup tutorials and creates lifestyle vlogs on her YouTube channel where she has a family of 7.89 lakh subscribers. She also participated in the premiere season of India’s Next Top Model in 2015.
She has been consistent in making content for more than 7 years and that’s what makes her content approachable and distinct from others. Additionally, she made her debut in Cannes Film Festival 2022 which is one of the biggest highlights of Malvika’s career.
She has been in the news for a time for reasons other than her career and it is because of the recent developments in her personal life . A few months ago, she made the announcement of her pregnancy on social media. Fans showered her with love as she posted a video documenting everyone’s reaction to this significant news. Soon after this, she took her Instagram handle to announce her separation with husband Akhil, who is an entrepreneur by profession. The couple announced separation after being together for 14 years as they were childhood sweethearts and got married two years back.
In her recent vlogs, she has mentioned a couple of times that she is having the toughest time of her life and hit rock bottom and how she did not plan on being a single mother. She talked about her difficult pregnancy phase and embracing single motherhood in future. She refused to mention any reason responsible for her separation. She is still trying to heal.
In a recent interview for a podcast, Malvika talked about her past life and parent’s separation. She spoke candidly about the most challenging period of her life, when her family lost everything, and how they managed to live in a one-bedroom flat when her father left them. Malvika added detail by disclosing the following-
We acquired significant fortune, and I may have been a totally different person as a result. But we lost it all, and when I say “all,” it was like going from being wealthy to being indigent. Dad departed when I was 21. We moved from a four-bedroom to a three-bedroom but were unable to pay the rent in either place. I then started my YouTube career after moving into a one-room flat where my mother slept on the floor, my brother on the sofa, another sibling on the floor and I was on the bed.
She added- “Those tough times I remember telling my brother, please give me some time, there is something in content creation. I got judgments from family people that you should work, and get a real job. Beauty is my niche, and that is what I created. I remember in my one-bedroom, I had one window, the size of a bathroom window, from where the sun would come down and I had one ring light, which was all I could afford. Once I used to shut the camera, and I used to cry, I used to be so mad thinking why am I here? I touched 100k on YouTube in that one-bedroom apartment.”

Speaking of her separation she mentioned that considering she and her ex-husband were childhood sweethearts, she said, “I never ever believed that I would be here. It was tough to take that step. For any prominent figure, it is considerably harder since we were in the spotlight. Since I was aware of the significant event, I was unable to publish material publicly. I received unbelievable support when I posted the same on social media. Suddenly, I felt lighter.
