China was provided with R&D data from the USA.
Recently the USA has decided to stop providing that data.
USA has announced to indigenous the manufacturing of the chips.
Foxconn, along with Vedanta, is setting up a production unit in India.

This is a $550 billion industry which would double till 2030.
Whichever country excels in chips production will assert economic dominance.
