Australia declares wildfire risk :Temperature rises to 96F in Sydney

Australia is sweltered in a heat wave which has increased the risk of bushfires and the authorities issued warnings of bushfires. 

The Weather forecasters said that the temperature could rise up to 12 degree Celsius or 53.6 degree Fahrenheit above the average temperature. Sydney will experience as high as 36 C or 96.8 F.

What is causing these fires in Australia?

Australia is at the risk of wildfires as the temperature soars following the onset of the El Nino event which is associated with extreme weather conditions such as Wildfires, droughts and cyclones. 

Minister Dib announced the official start of the Bushfire risk period. He warned of scorching heat in the coming week.

He said that it’s not just hot , it’s dry and windy which makes the conditions perfect for a storm.

Fire authorities issued fire bans to avoid the risk of bushfires.

Australia has experienced catastrophic wildfires in 2019-2020 which destroyed a large area and killed at least 33.

The Local residents in Sydney were worried about the risk of wildfire. One of the local residents said that it takes a few minutes to start a wildfire and it all starts. People are hoping that this year it will not be the same as 2019-20 wildfires which caused massive destruction in the country. 

As the bushfire season begins the firefighters have already battled 85 active fires in New South wales.

The Fire and rescue services have warned the residents to have their own safety plans for wildfires as the emergency rescue truck cannot reach every house so people must have their own safety plans.

In Victoria the authorities issued the warning to its residents to evacuate immediately but later that order was replaced by another order of  watch and act and the message instructed them to prepare to evacuate immediately.

In 2019-20 known as Black Summer in Australia the wildfires caused massive destruction and took many lives. It was one of the most dangerous years for Australia as the wildfires were difficult to put off. It was one of the most dangerous wildfires which caused lots of destruction in Australia. Scientists expect that this year too El Nino event can pose risk of Dangerous wildfires in Australia.
