Indian openers couldn’t perform much as the Australian all-rounder Kim Grath took an early wicket of Shafali Verma in 1.4 overs. After losing the first wicket, India was on 4/1. After the 4th wicket of the Indian skipper, the Indian Team tried to push themselves back into the game as Deepti Sharma alongside Richa Ghosh made a partnership of over 30 runs. But soon Richa Ghosh got LBW in Georgia Wareham’s over. India lost its 5th wicket at the mere score of 87 runs.

Deepti Sharma tried to take the team to a good score but the quick fall of wickets from the other side in the form of Pooja Vastrakar’s LBW and Amanjot’s catch out made it difficult after scoring 9 runs and 4 runs respectively. Shreyanka Patil entered the pitch when India had 107/7 in 17.4 overs. Deepti Sharma and Shreyanka Patil made the team reach to 130 runs before Deepti lost her wicket in the last ball of the inning by getting a run-out. India put the score of 130 runs on the board.
