Taylor Swift is on a break from her Eras Tour after spreading her musical magic at every show. She has been enjoying her time out from work, indulging herself in a summer romance.
She has been attending Travis Kelce’s NFL games, who is a light end and plays for the Kansas City Chiefs.
On Sunday, October 1, Taylor Swift was seen attending the Chiefs football game for the second time to support her potential love interest, Travis Kelce, at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Taylor, with her celebrity friends and some of Kelce’s friends, were all sitting together cheering for the Chiefs against the Jets
Ps: The Chiefs took the lead and won.
The Lover singer was joined by Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, Sabrina Carpenter, Antoni Porowski, Hugh Jackman, her brother Austin Swift and his girlfriend Sydney Ness, Shawn Levy and Blake Lively’s sister Robyn Lively.
Taylor’s dinner party with the girls:
The night before the game, on Saturday, Taylor Swift and Blake Lively were seen walking hand in hand to the New York City’s Emilio Balato for dinner.
The besties reached the restaurant around 9 p.m. and were escorted from a private side entrance to avoid the busy main entrance.
The girls were later joined by Sophie Turner, who is reportedly staying at Taylor Swift’s NY apartment with her and Joe Jonas’s two children, amidst their divorce and custody battle. The girls were also accompanied by Blake Lively’s older sister, Robin Lively, and Pattrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Mahomes.
Taylor had worn a short black dress with a matching black cross-body bag by Ralph Lauren while Blake was seen in a beige crop top paired with a striped long skirt and wrapped up her look with knee-high boots. Sophie Turner arrived in a short red leather dress with black knee-high boots.
Sources say that the girls were excited and ready to have fun.
Travis Kelce speaks publicly about Taylor Swift:
Travis Kelce has been courting Taylor for quite some time now. He has publicly spoken about her a few times even before they started acting all cute, charming, and warm.
Travis Kelce had publicly mentioned his time at the singer’s era tour concert. According to Just Jared, he said that he was disappointed that Taylor did not talk to anyone after the show or maybe him, so he took it personally. He had made a bracelet for Taylor with his number on it that he wanted to give her but couldn’t.
In late September, Travis appeared on The Pat McAfee show where he publicly invited Taylor Swift to attend his game which, a few days later, Taylor did. Taylor was seen jumping and cheering after Travis’s touchdown.
Days after the game, on The New Heights podcast, Travis spoke about Taylor attending the game. “Shout-out to Taylor for pulling up. That was pretty ballsy.”
He was happy to hear that everybody in the suit had all good things to say about her. With the slow-motion chest bumps, and high-fives with his mom, it was a great game that he will remember for sure. After the game, Taylor and Travis slid off in his getaway car together.
Taylor Swift seems to be enjoying her time as she mingles with the NFL player and we can sense the butterflies. They haven’t announced their relationship yet but it is definitely becoming something very soon. They looked comfortable around each other in the after party of the game where Taylor is seen standing next to Travis with her arm around his neck, who is sitting and talking with his friends.
